On her way home from dog sitting (this is so ironic), my mom almost ran over a little black thing running around the highway. Thank goodness she pulled over instead, and rescued a new friend! Mom is going to call to put a FOUND ad in the paper tomorrow, but I really don't think that anyone will call and claim him. I washed him right when Mom brought him inside, but after we introduced him to the rest of the family. (AKA our three dogs. We have a daucsand that is a fat-ass, a white golden retriever, and a daucsand/black lab wanna be if you can picture that.)

He got water ALL OVER the bathroom. Upon me rinsing him off (he has amazing timing), he jumped out of the tub (without my saying/letting him so), runs around my bathroom and makes a B-line (bee line?) for my bed. Yep. Jumps right up on it soaking wet, shakes, gets all of my things and sheets dirty. Yay. HE'S SO CUTE THOUGH!

He looks to be about 3-4 months old. He's big-ish though, so maybe a little older? He's about a foot high, but likes to lightly jump up on your leg. He's all black, and seems to be a retreiver. Not fixed.

So anyway, what should I name my new puppy?

So far I have thought of the following:
Ralph
Clementine (Clem for short)

Any new ideas?

My mother wants to name him.... *sigh*
Jethro Beau (So that his full last name will be Jethro Beau-Dean...)
Please don't let her name him that. She's named all of our other dogs, so I really want this one! Come on, how tacky (yet adorable) is "Jimmy Dean" for a daucsand?
