For those of you working in cubicle land, here's how to make cubicle mines - http://www.hackaday.com/entry/1234000073029700/
http://www.saic.com/cover-archive/announce/012805.html - More SAIC incompetence. I'm so glad they are a preferred government contractor for computer security. Just makes me feel all safe and warm on the inside.
SAIC is also the company who was in charge of making the new FBI computer system that has been talked about in the media alot as being over budget and not working at all.
I was supposed to be on a contract with the Homeland Security Department not too long ago. But the contract got cancelled before I started because SAIC had already blown the millions of dollars set for the budget in less than a month.
Couple of random facts:
I LOVED swimming. Still do. I was state champ in high school for 100 meter breast stroke. Just started back up swimming again in various hotel pools around the country.
Played keyboards in a band in Springfield Missouri a while back. Had a blast, got to open for Sister Machine Gun and Manson and Gravity Kills at various points. It was the only good thing about being in MO. Left when the other keyboard player ended up sleeping with the girl I had gone up there with. Promptly moved back to New Orleans. In an odd coincidence, one of the kids I met while I was out there I ran into again with the 303 crew years later in Denver.
