Running off to New Orleans in a couple of hours. Time to deal with bullshit that should have been taken care of a long time ago.
Took some pics from my friend Kam's memorial last weekend. It was a good thing. The garden we had the stone placed in is BEAUTIFUL. The dinner was good too. 40 people showed up. We had a good time going over the various stories we had about Kam.

Really hard part was our version of "last call." Kam was a volunteer firefighter in San Antonio. For those who don't know, when a firefighter dies, the men and women of his station do a "last call" over the radio. They did this at his funeral in San Antonio.

We have our own repeater set up here in the mountains. Each of us have a number picked to identify us (starting with a 3). The 303 code is what we use for a general call out to anyone listening (Denver area code). 306 was Kam's code. This number has obviously been officially retired.
