So the band is on pseudo-hiatus. I've talked a bit about my back problems... well, our guitar player's may be a lot worse, and his instrument is bigger and heavier than mine. We cancelled 2 practices. He may have a pinched nerve or a slipped disk. Maybe I'll make him come over, and I'll work on it a bit so he can function. In the meantime, I've been trying to find us a bass player, but it's not going entirely well. I posted a Bass Player Wanted ad, and within the ad I wrote "we may also add a rhythm guitar player at some point." So do I get responses from bass players? No, I get guitar players. I've had 3 in the last week. I'm sure they're good musicians and all, but they grow on trees.

On a related note, our drummer has been looking for a new car. He posted something on Facebook about Mazdas, to which I replied "If you buy a Miata, I will shoot you." I have played with a handful of drummers who drive small, inconvenient cars, like Camaros. Turns out he bought a Mazda 6. So that'll work.
