I may have to put my half-sleeve on hold for a while. I have a lizard tattoo on my right arm, and I don't dislike it, but it's standing in the way of progress, so I enlisted someone to draw a half-sleeve around it. After all, a lizard tattoo is symbolic to me... I'm a chameleon. And Lizard was a strange unexplained highschool nickname.
This tattoo artist is such a prima-donna, though. I'm a lead singer in a band, and I'm not half the prima-donna he is. He knows he's good, and he knows he can draw it the night before. I went into the shop a few times, and each time he told me to come back or call him a few days later.
So I might have to find someone new to do this. And now that it's July, it's about 7 weeks until I go to Vegas. Plus I might like to go to the beach now that it stopped raining in MA every freaking day. So beach, hottub in Vegas, Bare adult pool at the Mirage - I don't want to have to worry about new ink. Might just be best to wait until mid-September. I'll have plenty of time to save up for it.
Speaking of Vegas in September, I bought my tickets to "O" by Cirque du Soleil today for on my birthday. Front row, and the seats are listed online as "wet seats."
