Sorry. I know that my blogs have all been kind of whiny these days. This is about to be another one.
I seriously need a break from my kid. He has been so challenging lately. Even his teachers agree. He is normally such an easy going and agreeable little boy. Lately, he has been testing limits and my levels of tollerance and patience.
I know that this behaviour is normal for his age but it makes it no less difficult to deal with. Supposedly I am supposed to just relax through it and everything will be just hunky dory soon enough.
Example, tonight we went to a womens basketball game at U of A. Just the two of us. When we were leaving he just took off up the stairs of the stadium to the very top. He heard me calling him and just kept going. He even looked back with mischevious look for just a second. Then he took off around the corner and for a minute I lost sight of him.
I was so mad I took him right into the bathroom and smacked him twice right on his bare ass.
Now, I know a lot of people don't believe in spanking. You have a right to your opinion but I don't need a lecture. Thanks.
Anywhose, I think this is just a time in my life where I have to work hard if I want to see the magic. The good things in life don't come easy. I know that I have to take care of my soul and believe in a higher power. I try to do these things as best I can. Although its not always the best job for whatever reason, sometimes excuse.
I guess I have the word HOW in the front of my mind. How do I this? How do I go on with my life fulfilled and excited?
How do you all keep your life exciting and fulfilling?
