Wow...already I can see I am going to be in love with this link you have sent to me. I've looked through a few pages and found that you and I may be living parallel lives (for instance, I have lived and worked in the Netherlands myself). We should DEFINATELY keep in touch. Hey, I was at the Bigfoot when you called. I missed it. Did you know on thurs. at the BF there are all sorts of "greasers" with wallet chains and tattoo's and such car club jackets ith WEST VALLEY CREEPS and THE CRETINS on them? I guess it was the $2 PBR.

Hopefully we will talk soon. I can see there is a lot going on with you and there is some sort of shift going on. I "get it", cuz we've talked briefly about it and I read about it here but I get the feeling there is more to it. Theram has something to do with it. The Job, the book. Feeling overwhelmed?

ok...a bit tongue in cheek...but I just got the sisters' FLOODLAND on vinyl last week.

Ok it's 72 hours and the withdrawls are ever present. What happens when you are offline all day tomorrow and I have yet another 24 hours before I even hear from you, moreless see you. I dunno how I am gonna make it. MEDIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those 2 are a wacky pair. In fact, they have a lil gathering at the Chalet on Thurs. that they are trying to make a regular thing. I might go......thoughts? comments? concerns?

I bet you don't know this about me but at 18+ I had some goth leanings. Oh yeah, like I dressed the part? Hardly. Although I had hair like fucking Roger Daltrey. Like a helmet (helmut?).

Anyway, I was a huge fan of the Mission, Sisters, March Violets, Fields of the Nephilim and others. In fact I have seen all but the MV in concert. I remember seeing FotN at a club in SF (DV8?) and there was so much smoke and baking powder it was literally hard to breath. It was the Daenrazor tour. Did you know they pured baking soda over their dusters to give it an authentic "dead" look?

I also remember being the same music dork I am now and getting invted to the after party for the Mission fan club (!) at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano They stayed and met the fans after the show and signed stuff. I had Wayne sign my vinyl. I think Craig Adams had left the band by then. Some character named Wolfie signed it tho. Anyway, Wayne was signing away and was not so enamored to be there. I bring him my LP and he signs it and looks me right in the eye and says:

"What's your name?"

"Josh"

"Where you from?"

"Los Angeles"

Then he just passed the record to me. That was it. So random. I thought he was hitting on me. Then he had that Delivernace record and I thought I was right. Once a music dork, always a music dork.

So, what are your plans on Sat? Hmn?

Misses ya last night. I think I am having Jolene withdrawls of late. If I am away from you for more than 48 hours, I just don't feel right. Why is that? This is new.....

I think it's contagious. I was up a 6am then 7:30am to feed the cat. So I fell back asleep until 11:30a,m. Then I ate and fell back asleep at 1:30pm. Up again and STILL tired.

I had fun too. Not arager but it's nice to meet random folks and get along with them. She's a pistol.

I had a beautiful day. Some good writing in the morning, sunshine, beach, good people, a little beer ... all good things surrounding me all day. I'm still a little sad though, as well. I always am. It's OK, it makes me smile. Isn't it strange how sometimes the happiest times make you sad?

your lucky to get that closure, we don't always get the opportunity to find it. yah, it took me about twenty minutes or sort out that little entry i wrote you today. so thanks for giving me the incentive to start really examining what i had going on.
