Thank you!
Many thanks to everyone for coming to my book launch party.
It was a great turn out and I really appreciate the support.
Im actually still trying to digest it allits all very new to me. The only time Im in front of a large group of people, Im usually telling them what the soup of the day and chefs specials arewhich is quite a contrast to reading my adolescent rantsSo, I thank you for being there!
The night prior to the party I slipped on a butter patty at work and bit the dust, which is ONE of the reasons that Im quitting my job. People drop butter and silverware and all kinds of dangerous things on the floor and they never pick it up. How rude! This was actually my second fallI slipped on a butter knife before andI guess what Im trying to say here is to that it is my opinion that people should be more considerate. If you drop a butter patty on the floor, pick it up!
I have many stories to tell but very little time at the momentjust wanted to thank everyone for coming outto Ghettogloss
Andthought this article was interesting "Everyone's Blogging".
PS. As soon as I get pix from last night I will post them!

suffice to say, i'm really REALLY interested in finding your book. i haven't really read any young adult stuff in a while (other than perks, which, incidentally, i started rereading after i made that post), and i certainly haven't read anything about cutting since i quit, but i'd really excited to delve back into it. see what it feels like. not the cutting, just, ya know, reading about. i want to know what reading about it, thru non-fiction, through letters, feels like. i hope you're book does well, and i mean that in at least two ways. sorry for the long post/letter.
ps. do you know if it's carried on the east coast?
