Derby Love and Miss Minda's Bet ... "Hero's wear helmets"
So last night I went skating with my new rebel skates and they are beautiful. (I've got pics)
Unfortunately, they are heavy but alas I am a little pixie. So I got to see Violet and Mark - who in my books are the nicest couple at derby ... Violet is an ex derby girl - who *fingers crossed* tonight will be in the Northern Derby Team - they are testing her tonight - so I'm wishing her all the best (my good thoughts just entered her mind mwahahah)
I know about Violet/Mark Story - but I'm just going to say this ... I am the last person to judge someone - I'm far from being perfect. As long as somebody doesn't directly hurt me - I don't have a reason to have a problem with them - so I will always be your friend. I will always take a step back and see both sides of the story ... that's why I won't judge.

Then Miss Minda, Naughty Nik And Broken Pixel turned up and that was super duper ...
Miss Minda bought new skates too - soon they will have pink wheels and be beyond awesomeness.
I got a little nudge (literally) from Sweet Enemy (Aimee) who says that I should be fine to get into a derby team come freshmeat on 6th Dec. So I'm just going to have to keep practicing. Going to need to buy soft road wheels tho so I can practice at night. I'm so excited about roller derby - it gives me butterflies when I think about it.
After skating - Miss Minda made a bet - this is where is gets interestingly funny.
The bet was if I wore my helmet home (coz hero's wear helmets) so drive home with windows down then have a shower with helmet on - I get anything - bahahahah
So I was like you're on ...and we sealed it with the pinky shake!
The pics and vids are proof that I did it and that was part of the deal - so now I have the fun part of thinking of what I want ... *evil smirk*
