am in the middle of doing laundry for tomorrow. there is something i'v always found comforting in mundane tasks. sweeping=zen...sanatizing-OCD+laundering=something close to godnliness? leave it to me to make household chores a metaphysical statement.
ok, change of subject. my luck may have changed. once again, i had a great date ( only, this one made the last one seem boring in comparison). i think this was a connection. its one of thoses situations where you realize yr bf is pretty awesome, but ya dont want to screw things up by getting physical. we'll see...i wonder if this means i'll be bad in poker now? you know what they say, lucky at cards-unlucky at luv. i'v got a "cooler" now. haha
jeez, i havnt been to 2nd base in over a year. no wonder i'm so friggin good at poker these days!
really theres no point in talking about my luv life. i was so burned the last time, i dont know why i even bother.
at least i'll always have texas hold 'em on my cell phone to keep me company. hey, poker is for the broken hearted who dont want to throw a pity party - just go and bank a hustle instead. A good hustle at cards online always cheers me up! royal flush=

For a while, when I was recovering from a coma down in Fort Lauderdale last December, I got totally hooked on "At Home With The Braithwaites".
I thought it was well written, there aren't many movies that I can think of where it's mostly just two characters in a room by themselves talking. Ellen Page was fairly impressive. The Little Red Ridinghood allegory at the end seemed a little too cutesy for its' own good, but I liked the premise of a psycho turning the tables on a stalker.
Do you ever check out the message boards at IMDB?
The discussions are usually kind of immature and sometimes trite, but once in a while you find some interesting and thought-provoking comments (not actually the case with this one).
There a lot of folks who had some pretty rude things to say about the movie. But I think it's a bunch of male chauvinist jive, guys just have a problem with it when a female takes care of business like that.
