I probably should start looking for another CD or retro album to review for next one. and request record labels samplers-I've got my work cut out for me.

i got stood up again. same guy frown
so i told him to forget asking me out anymore. that's kind of a duh statement, anyhow.
i'm tired of guys asking me out over and over, and then when i make time to actually meet them for a date, ....they bail.

just accepted a new position as a music critic for my friend's online 'zine, a few weeks ago.
i really don't know how to approach it.
guess i'll just start researching my favorite old record lables, like - Touch and go, and Merge- then see where that takes me...for starters...
and catch up on the bands that played at thre SXSW and Pitchfork annual concert

I was am aiming for a low maintenance holiday, like none at all, but being with the family isn't going to allow that to happen.

I'm completely stunned. I think I'm getting back with my ex. Which means, time to go shopping for an xmas present. An X box 360 Live should be alright.
Now I'll have to stand in line for 3 hours for a game console at midnight. Heres to love and gaming. And the game of love.

For a while, when I was recovering from a coma down in Fort Lauderdale last December, I got totally hooked on "At Home With The Braithwaites".

So, what did you think of Hard Candy?

I thought it was well written, there aren't many movies that I can think of where it's mostly just two characters in a room by themselves talking. Ellen Page was fairly impressive. The Little Red Ridinghood allegory at the end seemed a little too cutesy for its' own good, but I liked the premise of a psycho turning the tables on a stalker.

Do you ever check out the message boards at IMDB?

The discussions are usually kind of immature and sometimes trite, but once in a while you find some interesting and thought-provoking comments (not actually the case with this one).

There a lot of folks who had some pretty rude things to say about the movie. But I think it's a bunch of male chauvinist jive, guys just have a problem with it when a female takes care of business like that.

Hmm. You have some good taste! John Steinbeck and Gustav Klimt are wonderful! And I don't care what people say about tv, there's some good stuff on the discovery channel and other like it. SG is worse than myspace! i'm soo addicted already. had a long day. went to gym, yoga class. then went to straight to micky d's for a cheese burger. kinda defeats the purpose of working out...oh well. its all good. immediate gratification, my favorite hobby! hah.
