Okay I got all my pics back from NYC. The crazy busy, overpopulated, stinky city, where no one ever lays off there horns. It was cool, did lots of fun things with my pop and with Penny.
Out trip started out by walking a couple miles through Times Square. Our hotel room was right by Radio City Music Hall.
Me and Dad went to the MET where we got a tour on the art of the ancient East.
Then we walked through central park, ate really good Italian food, and saw a puupet show. I didnt really like the puppet show, but my Dad did. He can find the artistic value of just about anything. He could see a pile of crap in a museum and say, mmm that sure is edgy and controversial...i like it.
But our fav part of the trip was going to the Yankees stadium. This is how it went: We got on the subway and headed to the stadium...we got lost on the subway, very lost. So, we gave up and took a cab. Got to the stadium only to find that the tix were sold out. We went for the next best thing...watching the game on TV at a bar. We ended up at the Yankees Tavern, where we ordered a couple of beers and some sandwiches. Dad got the philly cheese steak and I had sausage and onions. While sitting there we started talking to some Yankees fans, who had left the game bec the Yankees were loosing so bad. They decided to give us their tickets, which we were ever so greatful for. We ended up sitting right behind home plate, like the best seats we have ever had at a BB game. My Dad was so excited at the game. He couldn't decide which team to go for (I was rooting for the Redsox) so he would just cheer or boo whenever anyone else did so. It was really fun watching him get so gung-ho about something. As I watched him stand up and cheer, I thought about how he took me to Astros games when I was younger, and I almost cried. Dont know why....guess I just love my Dad.

And here I thought you'd left the site, since your old account is gone grey on my friends list.
Good thing I poked around on Miss cupofkarma's friends list and found you.
I miss Penny.
You will have to hook me up with her current contact info. I'm going to New York to see Dead Can Dance in a few months, and I will definitely have to see her while I'm there.
Anyway, hi. It's me. I'm back. Looks like you had an awesome time in New York, and your dad rocks!
