Hello everyone, I have good news and bad news.
Lets start with the good
Yours truly is going to be the new pediatric nurse at JPS. I just called the nurse manager today, to tell her I wanted the job. So, im pretty excited about that.
Bad news is that my bf's grandfather is about to die. We went over there last night to visit, along with all the other family. He was in respiratory distress, and he's starting to show "signs of decline" (thats what the hospice nurse calls it). He probably will not make it through the weekend.
I sat with his papaw for a while and just watched him stuggle to breathe, and jerk everyonce and a while. As I sat there I started to cry, and so did my bf when he entered the room. After the tears had slowed, I told his papaw thankyou for raising such a good grandson, and how I wished that he could be around for our wedding. I asked my bf if he wanted to say anything, and he shook his head no. He didn't want to talk to him, but everyone kept pushing him to do it. I think he pulled together the strength after I did.
It's really sad for him, because his grandparents are like his parents, they had a big part in raising him. So, it's really hard to him to let go.

Ah, I used to date a resident at JPS. Apparently that place can really sucks but, it has great benefits and experience you can't find anywhere else.
