Got one more day off before I go back to work. Found the house we're gonna move into. Its on Bailey street in Fort Worth. Im gonna go give the landlord his deposit in a min.
Had a nice trip to Fredericksburg. We missed the actual wedding, but had a honkey-tonking good ol' time at the reception. It was held in Luckenbach, TX. If you arn't familiar with this place...its a tiny little community (N of Fredericksburg) that has a pop of about 40 something. It has one post-office/general store, which has a dance hall/stage right next to it. And that it! That is Luckenbach. It was made famous by the lyrics of a country song.
Here they are walking into the dancehall as Mr. and Mrs. Neff.
I went to nursing school with the bride. We bonded bec of our silliness and love of beer.
She is very tall, and usually has to bend down to take pics with her girlfriends. She picked out the same dress that I did from David's Bridal. It prolly looks better on her, than it ever would on me tho.
All the groomsmen bought themselves a new cowboy hat for the reception. I got one to, the next day. This is the friendly fellow who sold it to me. He was really nice to us, talked to us about how he goes to some of the tatoo conventions and car shows around Austin for his business.
The day before the wedding we went antique shopping and had German food in Fredericksburg. We also visited the Admiral Nimitz museum, which is a museum that details the Pacific Gulf war. Nimitz was the head of the navy at the time of WWII, and he was from Fredericksburg.
This is a recreation of one the submarines used.
This is me being a dork, by standing next to a real flight jacket from WWII.
