Hiiiii smile

Today I had a nice surprise! biggrin
My friend Arnaud has come from Lille to see me in Belgium. I had never seen each other before today "in real life". It's really nice to finally see him after months we spent talking on msn, but it's a kind of strange situation too.

I'll try to explain: he is only 17 years old, so his father brought him to my house by car. It's already strange, yeah, but I accepted when he called me today because he needed a computer and I had an old one to lend. That's not that I don't like him, but I wouldn't like him to think there's is something more than friendship between us... and besides that's what everybody seems to think confused
But I'm not in love with him, I'm in love with someone else actually biggrin (ok, gets complicated^^)

Anyway, we spent a great evening and night speaking and listening to music together, now it's here 7:15 am and I haven't been sleeping yet biggrin And I'm now waiting for the formula one qualifications in Shangai at 8 am
confused

But another strange thing is that he came really the bad week-end: he is 17, so he hasn't got any money, and I'm just broke right now, so I will have to ask my father some money tomorrow.... sounds like we are as crazy as each other, well, maybe... but I'm 25, and still in the same f**** shit as he is whatever
This idea badly reminds me that I should be working for my studies now, instead of spending sleepless nights with friends... confused

And last, I should leave at 10 am to go bring a paper to my faculty, but I'm really not sure I will.... biggrin

Wathever, I don't want to think about it right now whatever
Tomorrow we are going to Brussels to show him some nice places and get my old computer by my dad. I hope it won't be as rainy as today...

That's cool that you got to meet him. I get what your saying about the whole friendship thing and not thinking that there is more between you guys. I've seen that situation play out...One of my teammates from my counterstrike team came down to visit and on the way he picked up one of our other teammates, who happened to be a 16 y/o girl (He was 22, and I was 21 at the time). Anyway, he pretty much led her along and manipulated her feelings...Thankfully they didn't take things too far, but it was enough for her to be super upset the next day...To the point where I spent like 4 hours talking to her and giving her advice and whatnot blackeyed Friendships with younger people like that can definitely be tricky at times.

And that video is awesome. Her voice caught me so off guard shocked eeek
