just completed a bike ride today that was 32 miles long. (i never cycle - so this is an accomplishment for me). i love chicago! the ride was along the lakefront and i really appreciated all the great things i saw. it was fun to see the locals and tourists at the beaches, in the parks, using the lakefront trail, outside the museums, and having a great time. buckingham fountain is in full display and when we rode past grant park, the blues fest provided a sound score. my favorite thing was the ice cream cone outside of Shedd Aquarium at about the 2/3 mark. ice cream on a hot day definitely hits the spot.
