Just read the Neil Gaiman interview. I really connected with his discussion of how living in America really is a unique experience. I marvel at how involved I am in my own world but really have no idea what is really going on at a deeper level in America or the world. I don't know if anyone does.

i've been wanting to re-read American Gods - after all this reading about Norse mythology i've been doing, i think i'll appreciate it that much more...
