Happy New Year everyone!
Isn't it interesting how the holidays go... it's christmas shopping and plans, then "what are you doing for new year's?", then "what are you resolving to do this year?" i have some items that are consistently my downfall and i would like to continue with them as my resolutions. i find it hard to make resolutions only on new year's day - i always seem to set myself up for the fall b/c my resolutions are too extreme. so instead throughout the year when i realize that i'm doing something that isn't the best for me i try to set myself straight then. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. so this year, my continuing resolutions involve
-being more positive about myself and life
-showing those that i love how much they mean to me every day
-reduce clutter and organize my crap (someone calls this "moving around my piles") and give away what i don't use
- explore music and get to more shows
- spend more time with friends
- be more fiscally responsible
- don't gripe at tourists downtown that don't know how to move with a crowd and instead make a logjam
I hope everyone's 2006 is wonderful! Cheers to all of us!!!
