Did you see that 49 states have snow on the ground today? Only Florida was spared (assholes). The funniest part - the Charlotte Observer was mentioning that we have 30 trucks out right now plowing the roads. Meanwhile, CNN reports that NYC has 1,700 snow plows and 365 salt spreaders. THIRTY trucks for the whole city of Charlotte????

Beautifully written, and heartbreaking. I lost my son earlier this year, so I understand the pain and the emptiness. I don't think it ever gets better, but I suppose the goal is to live with a scar rather than an open wound. You and your family have my love and sympathy.
