Has anyone here actually had success in a long distance relationship?
And by success, I don't just mean you two are still together. I mean, is there a way to go about it without making the other person feel miserable and lonely all the time?
I was so sure of what I wanted, but now that I'm thinking about it, things are harder. I can't be selfish, I can't tie her down until I move. She's said she'd wait for me, but it wouldn't be fair to her at all. She deserves to have someone there with her, someone who can actually physically hug her when she needs that. And that's something that I can't do for at least a year.
How do you let someone go if you still love them more than the world itself but simply can't make them happy? How do you show them that it isn't cause you don't care, but it's because you care too much and it's for their own good?
ANYWAY, happy monday everyone.
