Bitchy whiny family rant begins in 3...2...1...
So I haven't talked a lot about this here, but my brother got himself into some trouble. He got pulled over for a DUI twice (both while he was underage) and one of the times he also got a possession charge. He's been making stupid decisions, but he's paying for them. Last week, he spent a day in jail.
My dad called me today and started bawling. From day 1, he's been really hard on my brother about everything, no sympathy... but today he was crying to me about how disappointed he was in my brother, blah blah blah. So I said well, he's made some mistakes, he's dealing with it. So my dad wants to force him to quit his job, because he's sick of driving him across town. And then I told my dad that some of my brothers mistakes were also my dad's mistakes. For example, my dad thinks my brother is a horrible idiot for getting in trouble for pot, yet lets him smoke out at home and lets him have a 6 ft. bong in his bedroom. Now, that's just hypocritical and ridiculous. Also, with one of the DUIs, my brother also got busted for driving on suspended tags because my dad was letting him drive his car, which was well out of date. Well of course, once I called him on it, he got mad at me. Yelled "fine" at me, hung up, and refused to answer the phone. Now he won't answer his cell or the home phone, can't have a rational conversation with anyone... it's ridiculous. He really needs to grow the fuck up and have an adult conversation with me. He can bring me into his adult shit, but he doesn't like it when it's pushed back on him.
I'm just overly sick of my dad treating people the way he does. He's a hypocrit, he's malicious and just flat out mean. He has actually said to me that he thinks my sister is a vile disgusting human being. My sister is 19. She's made some stupid decisions too (not as bad as my brother, but stupid none the less) but jeez! How can you even consider speaking about your children like that? Come on. I'm hoping he either calls back soon, so I can finish what I wanted to tell him in the first place, or doesn't call back at all. If he calls right before I go to practice, I'll be livid. I do not want him to ruin my day more than i's already fucked.
I need a cinnabon. Fuck losing weight.
Edit : I guess he went over to my mom's and started bitching to her about me, saying that I blamed everything on him. I agree with what she said, though. "Kids blame their parents for everything. It doesn't ever really bother you unless you know they are right for once"
