Well I guess I kinda shot a set today. Jason doesn't really give a crap, so he wanted to get it done and over with as soon as possible (which lent for WAY too many unuseable blurry pictures). We took well over 600 shots, and only 150 or so were actually useable. I doubt I'll send it in. The lighting is off in a couple of them (there were shadows), and I just feel like it was boring and below-par. I love a couple of the pictures, but I know it wouldn't get accepted as a full set. I'm really starting to feel like I'm not cut out for this, regardless of how much I desperately want to do it. I really need a good photographer who gives a crap about the work they put in and the end result.
/end whiny rant. I'll probably post a couple of the pics later.
In other news, the All Souls Procession was amazing as usual. I walked this time around, mostly because my dress wouldn't have worked too well with skates. At the beginning of the procession I got super emotional (as I usually do around this time), but it got better. Amy, Anya, Sarah and I were on foot, while Dinah and Mona chose to skate. There were a lot more large puppets this year, some really good floats, and some awesome costumes. Every year I say I'm going to do something great, and every year I flake out. Next time, I hope. The burning of the urn was my favorite part, as it usually is. It just gives this amazing sense of release, and helping let go. I was supposed to leave before the finale and go to scrimmage, but I decided to stay. It was good for me.
