Thanks to everyone who commented on my new profile pic, although I think my ego is now inflated (or more inflated than it used to be, if that's possible). Trust me, 99% of the time I look like a walking disaster (especially if it's before 2pm or involves alcohol/drugs). But you guys have been sweet, so thank you.
I'm trying to decide whether or not I should go home to CT tomorrow night. One of my closest friends is moving to San Diego next week, and we already said our goodbyes and everything but I'm thinking about going down for Friday night to spend some time with her and our other best friend.
The only things going against this is that I feel all sickly (sore throat, cough, headache, etc) and I have more work to do than I think can possibly be fit into a weekend.
Any suggestions?

You should always go out if it means being with friends that you might not see for a while... sickness will pass, the moment with true friends will last in your memory for ever! Now wasn't that poetic?
