I started this year out right! A night full of kick ass tunes, awesome hair everywhere, amazing friends, and even more amazing musicians! I'm talking about The Rev and Nekroman. For any true Rockabilly fans out there these names shouldn't be a mystery to you. For everyone else, I'll provide some links so you can educate yourself on what good psycho sound is. I also was introduced to a punk bluegrass band called Old Man Markley that I'm now in love with a little. Check the links!

The singer stated he wrote this song about driving through Montana in a bus full of weed! Just so happens to be my 2 favorite things! :)

I linked a live version so you can see the raw energy they carry. It's hard to tell but they have the sexiest drummer, Lux! She plays in stilletto heels! :)

I also linked live to so you can see how sweet The Rev is. He plays with such grace and passion. And then there's Jimbo. Ohhhhh Jimbo. He called us his entourage! :)

Big calloused hands that slap that bass!
So that was my first show experience of 2014. I got to show off my new mohawk and saw some other rockin' styles. I also flirted with a few lovely ladies, drank plenty of fluids, and smoked a fatty joint all to myself. Good one for the memory bank.
XOXO,
