OK definitely time for an update
On Saturday we cam back from Florida USA, back from meeting his parents
First of all I have to say that the fact he took me all the way to the US to meet his patents is so very sweet.
The parents are a nice and funny older couple. Very English humor, very sarcastic.
Our journey started on Saturday the 13yh of March. We left the house in Sydney and headed towards the airport.
We arrived there at 11AM; our flight was scheduled for 2PM. All normal so far.
We checked our luggage in and went to the Airline launch. 1.15PM they started boarding us. We sat down in our seat and buckled up.
All normal so far.
At 2.15PM the captain made an announcement that they cant start in this moment, because the luggage truck driver dented the cargo door. OK. They said we should remain seated because it shouldnt take long to fix.
We sat for another 1.5 hours, then they said it actually will take a little longer and the got us out of the plane. We were supposed to stay close. So N and I went back to the United launch and waited for any further information.
It was 5.30 when they said that our flight will be delayed by 24 hours.
Pick up luggage again and head to one of the hotels the booked us in.
That was the first 2 days of our holiday.
Arrived in Florida we picked up our car we booked and drove down do Sarasota.
The parents house is directly on the Gulf of Mexico and we had a fantastic view. Dolphins jumping up and down all day. Like in paradise!! J
I also went back to Orlando and met some of my old friends and visited the company I used to work for when I lived in the US. The all remembered me and it was a day and night talking talking talking. I enjoyed that very much. It is nice to know that somewhere you go there is always someone you know and who welcomes you with open arms.
That is one good thing about the entire world traveling You must love it!!
Anyways everything else is all good and normal back to life.
Back to work, back to stressing out about nonsense.
Back to the lovely boss. ( ahhhh he is driving me nuts)
N and I are house hunting at the moment. It is not as easy as we thought, but we will be patient and find a place we both like. A nice and quiet and pretty place.
On the 23rd of April I will finally go and do my Jet Fighter Flight. Very exciting.
All I know for now.
Take care you all and soon!!
