Ugh! I need to find a new job, but I am such a slacker and I am feeling so discouraged. I have a freaking MA in Art History, but apparently not enough experience and not enough connections to other artsy professionals. It's not WHAT you know, it's WHO you know, right?
I am even considering office type jobs. Something 9-5 and with benefits...like health insurance that would cover babies, should we decide to have them.
It's just getting harder and harder working in an idependant jewelry store. I get the feeling my boss is going to close up in 2007 and where will I be then? I like what I do. But the jewelry business sucks right now thanks to folks buying their stuff from the net and from Kohl's, Target and price clubs.
I am starting to wish that I went to a vocational school to learn how to repair cars instead of a liberal arts college, where I got a degree that doesn't guarantee me a job in my field.
Bitch and moan, Bitch and moan.
