Well, the switchover is now complete...I FINALLY got the 2 laptops networked and all of my shit moved over to the new one...It only took 6 hours of troubleshooting the damned thing.
So now I'm on the new pooter that is probably about 4-5 times faster than the old one. *GLEE*
As for the weekend, on Friday I went out for dinner for a friend's birthday. It was pretty sweet, considering that I hadn't seen most of the people there for about 4 years. The best part was that nothing has changed in that time...My friend Shanda and I interact EXACTLY the same way now as we did then. It was awesome. Saturday was pretty calm. I went for last minute sushi around 1:00pm, then went and pillaged Virgin Megastore for a GI Joe t-shirt for Nelson and the Punky Brewster DVD's for me. I made dinner last night (balsamic chicken, Rice A Roni, mixed veggies), tried networking the computers for a few hours (*FIST OF DOOM*), and watched Tron.
All in all, a very satisfying weekend.
