Alright, so New Years...
The ferry over to Nanaimo was fine, not a whole lot happening. We were the first run of people shuttled over to the party from the terminal. Waited outside for a while (half hour I think?), and finally got in at around 10.
The venue was SUPER cool. It was an amusement complex, so there was Laser Tag, Mini Golf, and arcade and GO KARTS! Now, it needs to be said that they were serving alcohol at the party, as well as all the illicit substances that ravers usually get into. Apparently the Go Karts turned into one giant gong show after only a couple of hours. Go karting was one of my desires, but I got a little out of hand (but not sloppy) and didn't make it that far. And it was just a liiiiiiiiiiittle chilly out...In fact, by the time the party was over it was snowing. Alot.
The ferry ride home was just a LITTLE sketchy (as the pics in my gallery can attest to), but I made it home in once piece which is all anyone can really ask for.

That trip was the first time I've taken it in about 7 years. ANd I slept on the way home.
