I just got promoted to assistant manager today, and transferred to a different store.

I am also getting a pay raise.

I start on Sunday.

I love my girl-friends.

They are hell bent on keeping loooooooooooooooaded tonight.

So far I've been drinking coolers and shots of vodka. AND I CAN STILL TYPE! *proud*

I understand where she's coming from, because everything she's heard, I've heard. It's taken me a long time to get comfortable in my own skin, and even now when I get compliments, I get flustered (it's still hard for me to believe them). That being said however, I DO appreciate every one I get. smile

I agree with you and I'm so glad that a set went up that showes you can learn to be comfortable in your own skin and realize how beautiful you can be. I also love that someone with the same body type as me is on here.

Thanks for highlighting Sabro's set - you're right, it is a constant stuggle. I just read something about people growing up in the 1960's and 70's being confident and comfortable with their bodies and sexuality, and I can't help but wonder if we've strayed from that or never really managed to attain it after all. Personally, I'm days away from banning mirrors and other reflective surfaces from my home.

I may love my toaster, but that fucking thing makes me look fat.
