I was challenged by @eisesara's page to honour Mental Health Awareness Month. It might now be June, but for a lot of people mental health is a constant daily battle and I've just lost a nephew to suicide in the last month.
1. I'm proud of my willingness to help others.
2. I'm proud to have done things I once dreamed about but never thought would happen to me.
3. I'm proud of my stubbornness/tenacity to battle through things and keep going when things seem hopeless.
I make a great confidant and am flattered to be trusted with deep and sometimes dark secrets. I put family before my own needs as they are the future generation and I get a kick out of helping them to thrive rather than just survive.
To better myself I am continuing to take control of my finances and be debt free, do some music courses so I can get back to recording, and take up a home exercise program to lose weight so I can get back to running 5K events again.
