This is the closest I've ever come to getting a tattoo, a Henna tattoo by Charmaine Burnett of Desert Shadow fame in Perth, Western Australia. Had this done in July 2012. Charmaine's art work is incredible and she uses her own natural mixes of henna under her company name Desert Shadow. I thought I'd share it because a lot of the tattoos I see here contains a lot of similar intricate work and detail that I saw in much of Charmaine's larger henna art creations for clients.

I am at that age now where I forget simple things. So if ever I did get a tattoo done (not saying I won't) it will have to be something practical like my name, date of birth, blood group, a next of kin contact number, and, an address to return me to.
