Yeah, finally after the pandemic break I could enjoy some great gigs this year! 🥳
I was expecting HUGE shows (at least for me haha) in late September and November: Guns N Roses, The Killers (GP Week Festival) and Liam Gallagher.
As far as I can remember, GNR was the first rock n roll band I became a huge fan of! Back when I was a little 14yo kid haha I never thought I could see them live - well the tour was named 'Not in This Lifetime' for a reason 😅
I could watch them from close (not as much as @juliaxcherries as you can see here 💜), much more than I was expecting as I didn't arrive so early. It was insane, I danced and jumped so much that I came back to the hotel limping, with my right knee hurting 🤙
This month I saw The Killers in a musical festival associated to Sao Paulo Grand Prix (Formula 1) on 12th Nov. I absolutely LOVE their energy! Brandon spoke a lot of Portuguese which was super cute haha As it was a festival I was far from the stage, but it was amazing the same way. I screamed a loooot (for them to listen me from the stage 😅) and this time I came back with a hoarse voice! One of the best gigs I've ever seen 💜
I also saw Twenty One Pilots before The Killers, although I'm not a fan they did a great job too!
That was an extended weekend in São Paulo city, as it was bank holiday in Brazil. It was nice to have a few days away (ice skating including)!
Well, on 15th Nov it was Liam Gallagher time 😎 As everyone knows I have a special "bond" with Oasis and maybe because of it I had high expectations about that day... I was feeling a bit unwell the whole day, and quite anxious the hours before (waiting in the queue).
Looking on the bright side: I got a great view of the stage... something like in the 5th row! 😍😍😍 It was EPIC and I had a blaaast! Even though I wasn't jumping or screaming as much as I'd like to, due the symptoms of anxiety I didn't want it to get worse.
At the end of the gig I started to feel dizzy (it was insanely hot too!) and decided to leave the crowd. I felt a bit disappointed for this, but I guess I gave my best to deal with the anxiety that day... it didn't ruin the gig to watch 4 musics from the distance ❤️
