The new They Might Be Giants album (LP, record, CD, download, whatever) called "Join Us" didn't grab me right away, but the damn thing has grown on me big time in the week since it was released. I plan to write an in depth review at some soon point, but for now, I would say if you like/love this band, definitely check it out. It's got an "old school TMBG" sound (not a bad thing, tho' I do like the "full band" sound quite a bit, and this doesn't have that flavor). I dig it and am looking forward to seeing them on this Saturday (if they don't cancel, like Elvis Costello and the Go Gos have).
