Just back from the hospital after three long long days in an isolation room. I had a bug bite on my face that got severely infected. Three days (the whole 4th of July weekend) in a room by myself (since they weren't sure of the nature of the infection). Major heavy duty anti-biotics pumped into my veins directly via an IV. Hours of television (which I don't watch much of at home). What's scary is since I am not 100% sure how I even got the bite there is no way to ensure I don't have this happen again. I can't not go outside or panic whenever I see, like, a spider. So, in any case, thankful to be on the road to wellness. You really don't (or I don't) appreciate good health until it is taken from you.
