Two full months into 2008 and I have yet to turn on my television except to watch movies on DVD. I have literally not turned on my cable box one time to watch something broadcast on TV. Which begs the question, why pay for cable every month? Is television that bad or am I just really picky? I like watching some TV shows once they come out on DVD, but I cannot seem to handle a forty-minute show broken up by inane commercials. Also, I hate waiting a whole week to find out what's gonna happen next. But mostly it's the commercials. That, and, yes, most television is, in fact, really that bad.
