Today's Agenda:
It is kinda crappy out, so outdoors stuff is gonna be give a bit of a miss (as the English say)
1-food shopping. Need soda and Grape Nuts (still keeping vegetarian--so far so good)
2-Watching Brother's Keeper DVD (documentary by the director of Paradise Lost)
3-Commence reading The Best And The Brightest (Halberstam book about the start of Viet Nam war)
4-Watcing The Naked Kiss on DVD (Sam Fuller is pretty awesome as a director--fun B movie noir)
5-Listening to Their Satanic Majesties Request (I am trying to get into The Rolling Stones)
I have not eaten meat in 41 days. I don't miss chicken beef or pork but do find myself missing sushi. I think now my plan is to remain totally meat-free for six full months and then bring fish back in to my diet. So, come July 1st, I MAY eat sushi again (haven't totally decided). Let's see what I weigh at that point. I do plan on remaining free of deep-fried foods and candy for the whole year (as they are probably worse for me than anything else).
I have to see, but I may take the train into NYC tomorrow. I actually enjoy the act of taking the train into the city for some reason. I find it comforting.
