I made Christmas gift bags for the homeless in my city. I filled them with socks, hats, gloves, scarves, soap, candycanes, a personal note, and other goodies. I keep them in my car to hand out at red lights. I know first hand what it's like to not have a warm, dry place to sleep and not know when my next meal will be. (You can read my story on the I Have a Name Project facebook page). I don't have much to offer, but I hope that these gift bags will help lift their spirits. I highly recommend doing this or just keeping snacks in your car to hand out. What may not mean much to you could mean the world to others. What are you doing this season to help out? Let's get creative and give what we can!!
