This was a busy weekend . My dad recently had back surgery and is been in the rehab facility for the last three weeks ! He's been working really hard getting strength back and his legs and back so I can walk up the front steps at the house .
They only problem with that is the old steps went directly into the door and there was no landing for him to get up on . So this weekend with the help of a friend we built a nice deck rail and steps to my dads able to get up into the house! Still sad to say that he'll be in the rehab facility for another couple weeks but you'll be able to come home in the afternoons or evenings and get in the house and spend a little time with the family. Today was the first day had been home since December 27 after his surgery . Because of the old steps he was never able to make it in the house.
My dad is always been one to encourage me to try new things and never give up on my dreams. Because of him and the encouragement he always gave me I always strive to help other people anyway I can . This is my gift to you dad thanks for always being there .
