So the Angels are comfortably in first place, coming off a four game win streak. If you would have told me that I'd be a fan of a professional sports team five years ago, I would have laughed. It's really like good theater. There are great characters, good drama, excitement, rivalries, shifting alliances and a plot that nobody's read yet. I enjoy my team. I amaze myself sometimes.
I've been doing a lot of manual labor jobs lately. It's pretty exhausting. My friend just turned the bedroom that I use when I stay at his place into a recording studio. And I helped him set it all up. It's pretty damned nice. I don't know much about music or recording, but I like his studio already. It means I have to sleep in the living room, but I think it might be worth it.
My friend and I are going to New York in a couple weeks and then we start directing a show together. I'm very excited about this show. If you're in L.A. in July or August, you should definitely come see this show. It's called Goose & Tomtom and it'll be playing at my theater; The Sacred Fools theater. Worth a look-see.
