Busy.
Dragon Lounge past Friday night was a nice bit o' tribal breaks from my routine. It was nice to see Kelly before she heads off to europe for awhile, and finally got Sasha to the Kava lounge. Met Sasha's new boyfriend, who is literally twice as big as she is, which is kinda funny.
Yoshi's newborn daughter musta been up all night because we didn't have group meeting Sat. morning. A first in 3+ years. But just another workday all the same.
Sunday was quite nice, waking up with a 16 mile long run to PB and up and around the Salk Institute and back home. Hey, that Salk place is awesome, especially their slate patio with fountain streams and waterfalls. And it was designed in such a way that during the Spring and Fall equinox's the moon would set right down the middle.
Segue into a Wisdom of the Dust meeting at La Jolla Shores, where we discuss contextual relationships between burningman, personal suffering, and the wisdom springing from such. An art/performance piece is being considered for BM, though I won't be going this year.
Then that Superbowl. Funny. I had more fun roasting a duck and watching a Star Trek movie on our new cable (via Tim), planning culinary conquests with a pint o' Stone.
And now, back to the late night lab masochism.
