Typical me
Last Saturday night I end up biking from La Jolla/UTC to 4th and B to catch Doc Martin till 4am, then bike back to La Jolla. Shower, eat breakfast, then help my labmate run the Carlsbad marathon (only the last 8 miles, though). After that, and a post-race afterparty, I sleep for a couple hours before waking up remembering that I have to roast a duck and make a seafood/duck gumbo for Monday night guests.
This weekend there's a nifty little shindig up in some random downtown LA warehouse w/Evil Eddie Richards headlining, so after working all day Sat and heading up to the LA party that'll end, I dunno, 9am? I've a 14 mile long run that Sunday. And what am I cooking that evening?
Sushi, baby! I'm rocking out my new rice cooker.
I better enjoy my ability to get away with this fucked up schedule while I can, cuz these approaching 16-22 mile Sunday long runs'll be calling for a quiet Sat. evening.
Hmm, maybe I should try and find a Gu sponsorship?
