Still waiting to find out if justice will be served...tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock...
And in other news, life continues to go on.
I woke up this afternoon disgruntled from an interaction with the boy. Then I couldn't find my cigarettes, so I peeked in the mirror long enough to remove most of the crusties from my eyes and shuffled out to the corner of my block to buy some more. The lady behind the counter, who has sold me numerous packs of cigarettes since I moved here six months ago, wanted to see my id. I was going to be even more disgruntled if I had to go home and get my wallet to prove that I am 33 years old, so I argued and argued with her until she gave in. I couldn't believe she didn't recognize me. But she did say I looked very young. I don't know if I look seventeen, but ok, thank you lady from the corner store!
Last night I picked a strawberry from my garden and thought to myself, "this looks more like a strawberry than anything I have ever seen." It was such a perfect strawberry that I had to take a picture of it before I ate it.
Here you see it with a sprig of chocolate mint, also from my garden, atop tiramisu. Is this not an absolutely perfect strawberry specimen? Yes, absolutely perfect, I know...

Thank you so much for the update, as soon as I read it I remember hearing about it on the news. I hope justice see's sense and does the right thing, will watch this space for the outcome.
That is by far the most perfect strawberry, we had loads from our garden but none looked like that! (was the tiramisu home made?)
Keep well and hope you have a great weekend
