I got a new camera! I have been shooting with the same 6 megapixel O.G. digital Rebel since 2004. It couldn't think fast enough to keep up with me half the time, and I even lost a potential job because the boss didn't think my setup was professional enough. So I found a way to make a new camera happen, and yesterday my Canon 40d with 17-85 image stabilized lens arrived. I am elated.

Here's one of the first pics I took with it, ISO 1600, f4, 1/30 sec. That same exposure on my Rebel would have produced a blurry noisy mess. Image stabilization rules! And now I am off to San Francisco for a date to shoot some real pictures. Can I get a hell yah!!!!????
