2 more days at work.
then i am going to treat myself to a delicious popsicle and early morning wax. yep, thats right. eyebrows and brazilian bikini wax. im trying to max out my pain threshold, so when i go under the needles in mid-august i wont be embarassed for being a pansy in front my tattoo artist. even though im such a weakling. no joke, people poke my arms and i scream bloody murder and lecture them on inevitable bruises. but this tattoo means so much to me, its gonna be worth it.
i want to invest in a piece of art. i want to buy a fairly expensive painting. its like when youre getting serious with someone and you like buy a house together or go to joint accounts. i think owning a piece of art together would seal the deal. and then getting matching/complimentary tattoos. i was thinking about what sorta tattoo id get to match a hubbie, and all i could think of was strawberry glazed donuts, but then id be that girl with only food tattoos. but c'mon, doesnt that sound delicious??
i also like to think about one ridiculous thing to do each day, so even if i dont do it, i can at least smile about it. its just encouraging my day dreaming. the other day i was really into filling up an old-timey claw footed bathtub with berries and just soaking myself red and blue and purple. but also if i was gonna do that id be in the front lawn. might as well make a spectacle of yourself.
my camera is broken. if it wasnt id take a better pic of myself for my icon. thank goodness i know people with cameras or else id have to splurge to get a new one.
also, really big thanks to nik for being awesome!!
love and molasses,

p.s. im new to this site so heres a general question: do people actually get things off their wishlists? i havent made one, im just curious.

And as for the wishlist thing, yes, people do receive gifts from them. A member just bought me something from mine for my birthday.
By the way, if you'd like to meet some members from the site, if you click on the "Local" link at the top, a bunch of us are going out for my birthday on Saturday night.
i just went back a couple blogs and i like your tattoo idea...i think slightly humorous tattoos are excellent and i'm just starting to get a few myself (i.e. my butt tattoo) - i have ink where you are getting yours and i will warn you its a tender spot. it's not godawful, there are plenty a lot worse, but it tends to bruise
