At first there is only the news.
Then the silence. What can you possibly say?
Then the numbness. Like a fog it slows you. Its hard to see anything around you. Everything is hazy.
Then the emptiness. Finally a sense of loss, something is missing that wasn't there before.
Then the grief.
I can only imagine how heartbroken everyone else is right now. Waiting for her to show up for dinner but knowing she wont be coming because she died on the way there. Its so hard for those left behind.
She died so young. I feel so bad for the rest of my friends. We were all friends but most of them were closer to her. She touched our lives and we'll miss her.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend. I had a friend pass away two weeks after high school graduation. She was only 18. Death is never easy, but I think it's even harder when people are so young. Hope you all can find comfort in each other.
