Wheeeeeeeeee, back from Jax and Kentucky, back in beautiful sunny Miami. Jesus, it's nice to be back. The snow is alright, but it's leaving that makes me realize how much I looooooooooove warm weather. Me and Brent had always kinda planned on moving to Chicago (Go Cubbies!) but now I'm thinking...screw that. Give me San Diego or San Francisco and sunshine, and I'll be happy. Anyways, the Kentucky trip was uneventful to say the least. We did what we usually do--sit around and watch TV. Although I did get completely caught up on the last season of Pimp My Ride, haha. We went sledding, and I almost died falling into a creek, but Michael ran in front of me, I bowled him over with the sled, and we both almost went into the creek. I laughed for about a week. I wish to christ that we had it on tape, I know that shit would have made it onto America's Funniest Home Videos. Anyways, I got seasons 2&3 of Sex and the City on DVD! Ohhhhhhhhhh man was I excited! Carrie Bradshaw, aka Sarah Jessica Parker...is my fashion icon. I also got a gift certificate to Ulta, which I promptly spent the next day....oh, it's so fun to buy new make up. I got a gorgeous teal eyeshadow and liner that I'll be experimenting with soon, so there will likely be pictures. I got a reeeeeeeeeally short skirt that I think is hott and so maybe I'll hafta model that, too. The drive back from Kentucky (12 fucking hours) was pretty miserable, but at least I got to spend New Year's with Brent. We didn't do much, but it was fun. We were s'posed to leave for Miami yesterday, but he hurt his back (poor kid) so that was a no-go. We had a really excellent extra day in Jax/Fernandina, though. Sooo we got up early today, came home, ran some errands, nothing exciting. Today is my mom's birthday and she really didn't do anything to celebrate. I gave her a really excellent foot rub, though. I plan to spend the rest of my vacation (only one more week ) trying NOT to think about going back to school and enjoying my time with everybody here.
