Right before our eyes, this adminstration under Obama is at it again, trying to expand his "kingly" powers in the exective branch, snuffing out the power of congress has at making key appointments. This is all part of the plan, the agenda, to grow government, and with this step, allows the President to put into key position, who ever he chooses. The checks and balances are falling apart. I'm utterly disgusted that this was forced to happen because congress is too lazy to fix the streamline process, allowing Obama another chance to change the way this country is run
Congress should not relinquish the Senates constitutional duty to consent unless it concludes that such a check is of no value because the office itself is of too little or no authority or consequence, which was not the case with the positions listed in the bill, the Heritage Foundation, a conservative research organization, argued on its Web site. Lawmakers concerned about the pace of the nomination process should look inward.
It's too early in the morning to be reading about this news...while I'm struggling to find bus fare money to go to work next week. *sigh*
