There are times in a girls life when you realise your not a kid anymore. I found this out Friday. I went to go see Agnostic Front, The Goons & The Overprivileged play. We got there alittle late about half way into The Goons set.. Sigh. I stayed in the back havin a drink until Agnostic Front was ready to come on. So after the other bands played, some people left the pit area to grab drinks or whatever so I pulled Scott with me up closer. I managed to weasel my way about 3 people from the front and stood there. Lots of young kiddies there which surprised me. But thankfully there were some old school people there so I didnt feel like I was in kindergarden. Anyways Scott stood behind me to keep me somewhat protected and out came AF. Sigh. I love this band. The first note was struck and a pit ensued. Owwww. I am far too out of shape to play in the pit. Not to climb on a soapbox but where the hell is the respect anymore. 21 year old fuckheads who wear spikes on thier boots, knuckles and anywhere else they can find room only to stomp the shit out of you when you fall, They need to die. Im gonna show my age for real right now but damn back in late 80's early 90's people would pick a person up if they fell, Girls could ride the pit and not have thier tits tagged, The pit wasnt filled with assholes it was filled with respect-- for the fans and the band. I know theres gonna be violence in the pit I expect that, I know its not going to be like walking through a tulip field. I just think the pits nowadays suck ass. No respect. I wanted to crack some skulls open and piss on thier brains. I went around a few times and fell once that was enough. I learned a lesson a hard one but a lesson. If I ever see this one guy alone who was sportin a Screwdriver jacket around the DC area, Im going to fuck his shit up. Anyways enough bitching.
So the show was great and they played some of my old favorites "United Blood", "Had Enough" and the always popular "Pauly the dog". Roger Miret did not dissappoint. Vinnie played great as expected and after like 25 songs or so it was over. Now my wait began.. Everyone started clearing out of the hall
but I made Scott wait with me. We waited and watched while people broke shit down and I asked one of the techies if I could do anything to help. He politely told me no and we started talking he was a nice guy kinda reminded me of Charles Manson though I dunno why but I kept images of Charles in my head until the conversation was over. About an hour after all the shit was taken down I sat on the stage waiting and waiting and waiting finally Scott was like lets go around back and see if we can catch them coming out. So we walked around back and as my shitty luck would have it I missed him. I didnt get to meet Vinnie but I tried my damnest too. One day though one day.
My vagina hurts. I got my leg branded staurday it looks pretty good but its crusty and scabby. I'm heading on Wednesday to get another piercing. Not sure if I wanna get my nose redone or do my tits we shall see. Anyways hope everyone had a awesome weekend.
