Alright time for an update I guess!
I'm working full time, trying to get a raise... woo. hehe they have no room to give me a promotion because our store is slow, but that doesn't mean they can't give me a raise right?
in all, things are falling together nicely. my parents don't want my brother and i moving back in with them so we renewed our apartment lease today. they're being very very generous though and continuing to help out with the rent so my brother can save up for school and i can save up for moving and immigration and be prepared to not work for several months until i become a permanent resident. having the apartment will be really nice when family comes to town for the wedding too.... so, yeah... i'm getting pretty deep into planning my wedding! we've moved it to Lubbock, instead of Ontario because well, it's kinda the bride's day as i've come to find out and I really want to have my hands in it up to my elbows if you know what I mean.. which is hard to do from another country. It's also much less expensive to do it here, even with plane ticket costs for Charles. Charles (my fiance) will be planning the honeymoon and some sort of party/woodsy wedding thing we'll do later. He's feeling kinda left out right now, so I'm trying to include him in everything while still holding the reins... hopefully I'm not being too much of a bridezilla.

Thanks. Congratulations on the wedding stuff coming together. I was about 4/5ths the way to Lubbock this past weekend. (Big Spring... my home town). For once, I was grateful for the dry air and the excessive, sunny skyline uninterrupted by hills or trees. Austin has had the wettest year on record. ...Boo on rain.
