so i dyed my hair black the other night... i didn't really mean to do it so dark but i'm getting used to it (you can see it in my profile pic)

and my dog nola died last night. she was hit by a car right outside my parents' house and crawled under my car to die... it took a long time for us to find her even though she was right there because she's black and it was dark out and she was up against the curb.

i've cried a lot. i think i'm going to have her cremated and keep her ashes until Charles comes back down and we'll spread them somewhere... possibly multiple places... but i'd like to keep her near me for a little while.

this is tough. she was my first real pet and she was still just a baby... she had her first birthday in november. she was also the start of a family with charles and i. i really love/d her... and miss her a lot.
